Rescue Me ID: 17-03-15-00121CHLOE (female)

Papillon Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Miss Chloe is a bright little girl -- we believe she is a Papillon mix about a year and a half old. She's got a face full of freckles and couldn't be more adorable if she tried (3 Chloe absolutely loves children and we'd like her to be in a home with kids to play with -- children in the home should be at least 7-8 years old and good with animals. She also does great with other dogs and would love to have another four legged fluff in the house as long as it's not a cat :) Just a little shy at first, she does come out of her shell very quickly, loves to play fetch with her ball, would be happy to snuggle in bed with her family, and in just ... (Read More)a brief time with her foster, she's 90% housebroken. By the time she meets you, she plans on being 100% (or she will not be proud of herself). She is an absolutely fantastic dog, a great family pet, and looking to be a new pampered member of your family. Adoption fee for Chloe is $280.00 and she is spayed, vaccinated, vet checked, and microchipped. Meet her SUNDAY at Pet Club 9325 E. Shea Blvd in Scottsdale 11am-2pm NOTE: No event on March 26th as we have a special event that Saturday 3/25 (watch our page for details) (Less)

The 1st step to adopting any of our dogs is to fill out an application by going to our website. www.azrain.org. Click on ADOPT tab, then DOG INTEREST FORM. Cute Cute Cute..Hanna wants nothing more than to sit on your lap and soak in the thought of human kindness. She looks big in the pictures, but she's actually a tad larger than the Chihuahua sitting next to her. Approx. 10-12 lb. max. She was dealt a bum deal when her owners dropped her off at the vet claiming they found her, but then said her name was Hanna'|(OPPS). Obviously they didn't deserve this little bundle of fur. Vet thinks she is 10-11 months old. Appears healthy and is ... (Read More)lovin life with the foster gal and her dog. She is scheduled to go in to be spay on 3/14/17, and then will go to her forever home. Current on her immunization shot and Rabies shot, along with micro-chipped. Loves all people and enjoyed the little neighbor girl that came to play with her too. She doesn't seem to know what a walk is, so the foster is working with her on this. Not sure about cats or large breed dogs. Do you have a house or apartment that you are wanting to turn into a home?? She is super loving'|.vet thought a terrier and perhaps Papillion mix. We only know she's adorable Her adoption fee is set at $250.00 IF you have your application in already for another dog and you were not chosen to get it, and if its been within 90 days, theres no need for you to fill out another application if you are interested in this pup. All you need to do is email us and let us know you applied for ___, and now you are interested in ___. We will make sure the switch is made for you! OTHERWISE'|******IF Interested in adopting, Go to the ADOPT tab, and click on Dog Interest Form on our website at www.azrain.org.. *IF YOU CAN READ THIS, I AM STILL AVAILABLE. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A CHANCE AT ME, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION BY GOING TO AZRAIN.ORG AND CLICKING ON THE ADOPT TAB, THEN THE DOG INTEREST FORM. THERE IS NO WAY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ME WITHOUT COMPLETING ONE. R.A.I.N RESCUE DOES NOT BRING ANY OF THEIR DOGS OR PUPPIES TO ANY EVENTS. IF YOU ARE CHOSEN TO SEE ME, YOU WILL GET A CALL. SOMETIMES IT TAKES A BIT TO FIND OUR FOREVER HOMES AS WE HAVE TO BE SPAY or NEUTERED 1ST, CURRENT ON SHOTS AND MICRO-CHIPPED'|.AND THE DOG DIRECTOR IS VERY PICKY! ITS ALL ABOUT 'US'! Please don't call to ask if this dog/puppy is still available. We remove them with in 24 hours of adoption, besides, you know you will find another one and your application will be good for 90 days for any of our dogs/puppies at R.A.I.N. Rescue! The 1st step to adopting any of our dogs is to fill out an application by going to our website. www.azrain.org. Click on forms tab, then DOG INTEREST FORM. We do not bring our small dogs to adoption events, because #1) they are normally scared to death and very nervous, not knowing what's going on with the many people coming up to the pens and hovering over them. Many shiver and shake with the unknown. #2) People adopt on impulse when they see a particularly 'cute' dog/puppy. When they are adopted on impulse, reality sets in with in the 1st month of adopting it'|Oh, this puppy ate the leg off my chair, I can't have that!.., or '|You said this dog was house trained and it pees all over'| and then in many cases they are returned to rescue. #3) When people have to fill out a form 1st, and read all the questions about the care of a dog/puppy, they see that there are many aspects to adopting a family member, that they may not of thought of. They also realize that it is a life time commitment. The application Is done prior to adopting, so the family understands the seriousness and responsibilities of ownership. We have applications available at 2840 W Chandler Blvd. (At Petsmart, in the Lowes shopping center). It is located at the 101 and chandler blvd. OR, you can go to our website and get one, then email back to us at info@azrain.org OR, hand deliver it to us on Saturdays at our Donation Table we have set up, right of the front door of Petsmart. Volunteers run the table every Saturday from 10am-2pm. They will make sure it gets to the correct Dept. Many Thanks! ~~~~~~~~~~~~ We are a 501c3 non profit Rescue. R.A.I.N. Rescue (Rescuing Animals in Need). ** ALL OF OUR PETS ARE: micro-chipped, (cats are feline Leukemia tested), up to date on immunization shots, spayed/neutered and dogs are current on Rabies shot.. The dogs/puppies are taken off the website with in 48 hrs of being adopted, SO if you see one that interests you, plz fill out an application. IN THE EVENT you do not get the dog or cat that you are applying for, your application will stay on file for 3 months. If you find another pet with RAIN Rescue that you are interested in, (within the 3 month period), just call or email us and tell us the name of the pet and that you have previously filled out a INTEREST form, and which one you are currently interested in. PIease Read Before Adopting a Papillon in Arizona
Papillon Dogs can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. The Papillon is an elegant toy breed with large ears and a gracefully curved tail. Papillons are active, playful, and full of personality. Papillons do well with older children and cats with whom they are socialized, but can sometimes be combative with other dogs. Housebreaking a Papillon may require patience. Papillons love to play outside, and can be protective and territorial. This breed does best with a yard, but some Papillons adapt fine to urban apartment life.

Papillon is French for butterfly. Papillon dogs get their name because of the butterfly-like shape of their ears. Papillons are depicted in Italian frescoes from the Renaissance. Many Renaissance paintings depict Papillons.
