Binky is a sweet six year old Jack Russell, Papillon mix. He is a very loving dog, it breaks our hearts to have to find him a new home. My daughter is getting married and moving in with her husband to be; his daughter is asmatic and highly allergic to animals and so she is not able to take Binky with her. Binky and my daughter have lived with us for the last three years; however, my husband is about to retire and we want to be able to travel and are at a point in our lives where we are not able to have a lot of responsibility with pets. Binky is GREAT with children & has been raised with a little boy from birth. He's also very good with ... (Read More)other dogs but, he wants to be boss. I suggest that he will do best in a home where he will get all the attention, as he attaches himself to his owner in a very strong and loving way. He will get jealous of another animal who tries to share his owners lap or take his owners attention away while he's on his owners lap. Binky however, is not a mean spirited dog. We have two cats in our home at this time and he is good with them; however, doesn't like it when they appoach his food bowl. He has never attacked our hurt a cat or dog, he will only try and chase a cat away from his food bowl. He does enjoy playing with other dogs; however, does still like all of his owners attentioin. He makes a wonderful family pet. He's house trained and if you put a bell at your door, he will ring it to go outside. He will go potty outside on command. He weighs about fifteen pounds and his fur is a combination of short and long hair, very cute. (Less) Livingston County Brighton, MI 48116 MAP IT!

Papillon Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Papillon is an elegant toy breed with large ears and a gracefully curved tail. Papillons are active, playful, and full of personality. Papillons do well with older children and cats with whom they are socialized, but can sometimes be combative with other dogs. Housebreaking a Papillon may require patience. Papillons love to play outside, and can be protective and territorial. This breed does best with a yard, but some Papillons adapt fine to urban apartment life.
