Meet Trane and Vislov (aka 'The Russians')! These adorable brothers are 7 year old Russian Toy Terriers that weigh apx. 9 pounds each and came to Revolution Rescue from a terrible hoarding case in another state. If you aren't familiar with the breed, don't worry, neither were we until we were contacted by the person who got them out of their living situation and brought them to NE. Russian Toy Terriers are a pretty rare breed in the United States with only 10-15 respected breeders raising and showing them, there are around 400-500 living here, but they are very popular in their namesake country. These boys are both so loving & full of ... (Read More)life and are very active in their foster home! Trane (left) loves to play with his toys and Vislov (right) is perfectly content sitting on a lap, but make no mistake--they will push each other out of the way to get all of your attention! They are crate trained for bedtime but are still learning proper potty etiquette inside the home! They will go to the door to alert you and they have no problem wearing their belly bands inside, which helps them to not make a mess when they occasionally lift a leg! They both get along great with the resident dogs in their foster home and while they aren't extremely bonded, we would like to keep them together, especially since they got each other through their tough former life. The Russians are current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Trane & Vislov, please fill out an application at and we will be in touch! $650 for double the love! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Papillon in Nebraska
Papillon Dogs can make good pets in Nebraska if they match your IifestyIe. The Papillon is an elegant toy breed with large ears and a gracefully curved tail. Papillons are active, playful, and full of personality. Papillons do well with older children and cats with whom they are socialized, but can sometimes be combative with other dogs. Housebreaking a Papillon may require patience. Papillons love to play outside, and can be protective and territorial. This breed does best with a yard, but some Papillons adapt fine to urban apartment life.
